Egg Run Beta Testing

Oh yeah, here come Egg Run beta testing. Anyone interested please find my personally. But sorry to say that, to play this game, you need to have sony ericsson color mobile phone which screen size is at least 200 pixel and upper, then the next requirement is you need to have a way to transfer the file to your handphone. After unzip EggRun.zip, navigate to /bin/ and send the EggRun.jar to your handphone, then, done! . If you don't have sony ericsson phone and still wanna help me out with the beta testing, there is one way... Quite tedius way.

Go to this site. Click on the first file "Sony Ericsson SDK 2.2.4 for the Java(TM) ME Platform", and yes, it's 73mb (this determine how passionate you are to help kuan out :P) After the download, install the SDK. ( It's actually a full SDK that you actually can start developing your own java mobile edition program for your hand phone, in case you knew how to program in java lah. ) After the installation, to the the start menu > sony ericsson > WTK2 > Run Midp Application. One pop up window will ask you for a .jad file. Navigate it to the place you found my Egg Run folder, open the EggGame.jad in /bin/ folder. Then you can enjoy the game!

I personally very satidfy with this game we produced, it will worth the tough work, download and stuff. By the way, reminder on the jaR and jaD, they're different.

Birthday of My Girl, and My Friends

26th April just past (few days ago lah). It is a special day to me, I have 4 friends birthday on that day, which is the most in my calender (in mind one). So, here, happy belated birthday to Jagung, Terrence, Yan Ling and.... my dearest Min Bee.

I believe she got a really nice birthday week (never heard of birthday week? which is her invention that the whole week is her birthday and almost everyday has something to celebate.) Well, beside it is Min Bee's birthday week, it also our MMU's assignment killing period where most of us have at least 2 assignment to pass up this week. Time management became important then ( because she is the priority in any situation... unless I risk my life).

Genting trip in my previous post is the starting of the activity in this crazy busy week. After that, we had a BBQ party at C block pool side. Most of her friends (My friends too lah) invited to this pool side party. Bao Bao, Josh, Ms yoon, Yan Hui, and new member to Bao Bao - Hao Hao. The party was very fun, we chatting around, playing, burning, josh busy taking photo, Yan hui busy burning the food, etc etc. But the party end up burning under a roof because of raining but still keeping the fun, everyone sang birthday songs to Min Bee in varies language ( so happy :D)

Another activity is the midnite-putrajaya-bridge candle "blowing". The same party member gather together at wednesday night, brought a cake, brough a special gift, 2 cars and rush to the bridge. Cake cut and share, gift unwrap and show, mouth smile and laugh, picture caught and store, and lastly... police came and we RAN!!! Ms Yoon felt funny we had to run like that. she knew the real reason after I said one thing "they want money" then she understood. How corrupted is our country can be proof that Ms Yoon already force to pay rasuah in the first day she reach Malaysia since the custom claim that she cannot bring in her comestic thingy.

All Red, one Green Spot

It's a phrase used in chinese to describe something which happen/act very different compare to all the thing around or happen recently. It's happy to say that, this is finally a trip post :)

Trip? MMU student might start wondering are we crazy because we (me, Min Bee, William, Eddie, Leong Kee and Josh) just back from Genting highland today and we move out yesterday early morning. All of us have 3 assignment to pass up next week. No doubt, It's 3 assignments. We actually already past up few before this weekend and need to work on to finish another 3 in the following week. All red, and we just did a Green in our tension life.

We enjoyed very much for this trip. Although there are some conversation related to assignments but in these one day half, we made it to free our mind from those stress. We played bowling, we ate buffet, we went into Casino, we drank Starbuck coffee, we watched movie, we played card, we laugh, we crazy, we had fun :)

Anyway, this is the last week we need to focus our eye that much to the computer screen just to finish something will convert into floating point in our degree certificate. Trip over :D

Friends

This word seem important to me, well, it's actually important to everyone. Why Kuan suddenly want to talk about you (my friend :) ). It's because I'm too sien and nothing to blog about lo. hehe.

Busy and stress are really something that will drive someone minds away. I tasted it. When all things came together and all waiting for me to handle, whether it's problem or trouble, It's just feel like collapse. Then I picked up piece by piece, jewel or trashes, there is one piece which still shiny just that dust polluted it, a bit.( sound literature? May be I just saw my MUET exam slip ).

How weak I became, how upset I pissed off myself and those pissed me off, there is one party, whole lot of people, who still stand by me. Even they are still busy and hanging with their own life's troubles, hands are still given out. How dare I forget about it and so selffish that I burried my head into the soil of stress and trouble.

It's weird but actually the memories help this out. I remember the sweet times. LsL, HLG, GnL, B&B, Bao Bao and Min Bee :D

Busy and Simple. It's life

It's not common to hear Kuan said "I'm am freaking busy with my life now", "I got no time to the gather, because I got lots to do" or "Sorry, I'm busy, mind chat next time?". It's really not common to hear this for the years before I step the foot to MMU campus. It's common now, especially this and last year. I am so sorry that some of my good friends actually start my MSN chat with "bz?", "still there?" or "..." not interested to find me anymore coz I turned them down few times.

Sorry friends to me to act like that. I have a very bad control of my life right now, it's just too mess. Things pop up like mushroom after rain, even last last week my car in accident and she's done now. I still not getting her back because I am too busy and lost the energy to get it back. Too many things floating over my mind made me no heart to think about my car. It's really bad.

Anyway, I recharged my battery. The charger is Segamat. I went there yesterday with Min Bee to celebrate her father's birthday. First time met her parent, hehe, I guess I did quite well anyway. I was there since saturday morning until sunday (today) evening. I did nothing but watch TV on the sofa, went eat Segamat food, enjoy 2 ppl world with Min Bee. Ah~~~ Refreshed and recharged.

Today Brain's Sharing ** Life is actually simple, just ignore those negative people, ignore those annoying comment, ignore those fake praises, ignore those you-think-it's-shit.

Paid and Play

Today Kelvin told me one of his lecturer's high pay story. This lecturer graduate from MMU's IT faculty with 4 flat degree, get his master in around one year at Swinburne (AUS). After that he wrote few book, e.g. related to encryption and water marking. While he was teaching at Kuching, Kelvin said he got paid around 20k Ringgit. Currently he was sponsored by government all the way to Switzerland for a research project. He pay is 40k US dollar now.

Kelvin is so amaze about that large sum of pay the "guy" got pay just doing some programming stuff, me either, imagining if I got that kind of paid while doing some cutting edge research and I actually passionate in doing it. Let say, some stupid company / agent pay me RM 10k to research on Movie watching and Game playing. Awh...

Egg Run alpha testing

This semester assignment is mobile game. I team with Jun Hao and Ee Kean. After discussion and discussion, we made this game, named Egg Run. We completed the alpha release two days ago, and send the game to some friend to try it out. Happy is that we really satisfy with the game, and the feedbacks are cool.

This game is actually play by those tester on their handphone (so far just sony ericsson supported). Well... it's kind of proud that we manage to make that in 8 weeks time. Although it still far behind from what we planned for beta realease, but it hit the milestone quite well.

Felt interest and wanna try it out? The limitation is, sony ericsson phone guarentee play well, Nokia guarentee play sucks, others I don't know. and will need bluetooth, memory card or cable to install this game to phone. Find me personally to get the alpha. hehe.

It's Dark

It's bad, bad, bad and it's too bad. I let my dear wife (named myvi) fall into valley of suffering, Factory of crazy doctor, Hell. She's hurt, again. It happended at the peaceful MMU campus where there are road and junctions.

It's not a good day for me before that trajedy happen. My brain is full with Code, Java or Action Script, and full with game, Quasr or EggRun. Beside of codes, there are alarm clocks ticking and warning me that they going to ring soon, those damn DEADLINE alarm. Brain is yelling, knocking me to get some fresh air but NO! I'll die if I missed those deadline.

With the burdened heart and sportless-body moving back to my dear wife after a sleeping class. I was going to drag my way back to my dear second wife(named laptop) and continue killing codes monsters. And here come a lovely wira, trying his very bad luck to jump into a junction infront of it, where he need to pass through a straight and lineless road, where I driving on. Whether he is blind, or he thought I fast enought to halt my dear wife, he's all wrong. There, the trajedi of pain happen.

387 KM

Today has a special mission from my dear Mei Mei. Drive all the way to Tangkak (Dong jia) and celebrate birthday with her sister Min Hui. Before reaching Tangkak we went Melaka to meet Min Bee's uncle to pass something to him. Unbelievable I went Melaka the fifth time, and today is the second time I went there in this year, never thought I will be there so many times.

Drove whole morning and noon, until evening, my right feet push about 387 KM today. I think this should be my record, most KM drove in one day.

After a long break, actually is kind of sick leave for myself, it's time to crunch again.

Today brain's Travelling ** Melaka is a town smell good. Smell of History's Blood and Glory, Smell of Cendol and Chicken Rice, Smell of Culture. **

FIx Style

Was coding for almost 2 full days except from eat and sleep, tommorow will carry on until the dead line is meet I guess. It's crunch :(

After typed thousand plus plus line of code, editing, testing, debugging. I figure out that my coding style change a bit, in term of code architecture I should say. Quite happy about that since changing in style always mean improvement cause we never chose to change only if that change we felt better. Still, something is fix. Part of the code still carry on with the same style, It's kind of FIX where it's hard to change, or there is no alternative.

When people doing something regulary for a long time, it's become fix. And process a style of doing it which is fix. Then change getting more and more reluctant. Because people like comfort, constant, and feeling of all things still under control and this lead to refuse facing the truth, the world, the life. Things around changes, so do we need to change to adapt, to actually see what is going on. Unless people want to leave behind, hiding in a ball of him/herself.

It's not about making ourself more clever, more up to date, more competitive. It's about how you use your life to taste what's world give, good or bad.
